HISTORY
Pinnacle Transportation Systems, Inc.
Shawn CJ Kling established Pinnacle in January of 2000. Mr. Kling is a
seasoned veteran of the Heavy Haul Transport Industry and had previously
worked in various executive positions for Transit Homes (a company owned
by his father Larry E Kling), Morgan Driveaway and Bennett.
Pinnacle opened its 1st Terminal in Elkhart Indiana by providing
Driveaway and Towable Transport Services to the Recreational Vehicle
Industry, Pinnacle’s first customer was the Damon Corporation. Pinnacle
has grown from that one Terminal in Elkhart, to over seventeen Terminals
nationwide and expanded internationally to Canada in 2007.
In 2003 Pinnacle went public to help fuel its growth and expansion in
the Heavy Haul Industry. In 2006 the Board of Directors voted to take
the Company private and the Company is now owned by its management.
Pinnacle continues to develop new operations and opportunities
throughout North America through its various subsidiaries one of which
Pinnacle Logistics, was the largest provider of disaster relief services
by transporting over 17,000 housing units to New Orleans in three months
post Hurricane Katrina.
